If you’ve been searching for a horse that’s broke, gentle, and basically a four-legged security blanket, meet Draco. This snowflake palomino Appaloosa gelding is 12 years old, 14.3 hands, and comes standard with peace of mind. He’s the kind that takes care of his rider like he’s getting paid for it.
Draco neck reins, moves off your leg, and is just easy. He lopes easy circles, has clean transitions in every gait, a soft stop, and a ranch-style turnaround that’s just simple.
Out on the trail, he’s calm, confident, and surefooted. Rocks, brush, water, wildlife, tight turns, steep country — Draco handles it all like he’s guiding a tour group. Narrow paths? Cool. Downhill slopes? He takes them like he’s carrying fine china.
He’s been to parades and rodeos and has seen more commotion than a county fair on free-admission day. Flags, tarps, tires, bridges, dogs, strollers, traffic, ranch equipment — Draco looks at it all like, “Buddy, I’ve seen worse.”
He’s gathered cattle and done ranch work, but this horse isn’t all business. He’s got that fun, go-anywhere, try-anything attitude that makes every ride feel easy. Want to go check fences? Sure. Want to just mosey down the road and enjoy the view? Draco thinks that’s a perfectly respectable life choice.
He clips, ties, bathes, hauls, and stands for the farrier like a gentleman. He is currently barefoot . Up to date on vaccinations and farrier care — no “projects” here, just a horse that’s been loved, and ready to join your family for the holidays.
