Duke Blue

Don’t tell Breyer but one of their horses came to life!!! Duke Blue is the dream horse that dreams are made of! He is the most, rare unicorn that you will find! Not only is Duke is a rare 16H, 2021 model, registered Quarter Horse Gelding he also is a true blue roan with that silvery blue coat! But the best part about Duke is his mind and how he rides! Duke is one hand broke, neckreins a circle each way, has a big stop and backs with ease. He will sidepass to open/shut gates as well. He take his leads, lopes perfect circles and does it with the reins draped loose down to his knees while staying slow and easy the whole time, its as easy as riding a rocking chair! He has been ridden inside and out. He has been ridden around the ranch and knows his way around cows as he has spent time working at a small feed yard, he has roped sick ones and loaded trucks at the stockyards as well. Duke is Mr. Personality, as friendly as they come, loves attention and is very calm natured! Duke is safe for any rider, small or large, young or old, it makes no difference, anyone can ride Duke! He has been ridden by every member of our family all the way down to our 6 year old and we’ve trail ridden him double as well. He has been ridden down the highways and he is traffic safe. Duke is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He has been on several week-long camping trips. He hauls well and picketline ties also. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Duke has no bad habits! He has as good of a mind and rideability as any horse that we have had go through our program over the last 5 years!
